About Loire Music

History

The first Loire vocal jazz summer school, organised by Tristan Mailliot, took place in August 2004 at the Domaine de Bel Air, France, with Anita Wardell and Tina May as vocal tutors.

Since then the range of courses has expanded to include jazz piano trio workshops, and two advanced instrumental jazz summer schools in France. a jazz drum course and vocal jazz workshops in London, at the Vortex jazz club. We are lucky to be able to call upon some of the busiest and most talented musicians on the London jazz scene such as Anita Wardell, vocals, Jeremy Brown, bass , Robin Aspland, Barry Green, Rob Barron, piano, Gareth Lockrane, flute to come and share their knowledge and love of jazz with the course participants.

More vocal workshops are planned in other countries.
